Welcome to episode 1218, in which host Victoria Cece interviews Tommaso Turci this week on The Next Generation.
The Next Generation where Victoria Cece interviews young Italian wine people shaking up the wine scene.
More about today’s guest:
A few words from Tommaso himself: In Italy when you grow up living together with your grandparents, you don't need a fake ID for underage drinking. Your granddad would pour you wine and water as soon as you were able to spell it. My grandma was an amazing cook. I spent half of my childhood stealing whatever kind of raw fresh pasta she would spread out on the kitchen table to dry. And I liked it. Kids they want to become astronauts, firemen, doctors. Back in the days I didn't know how, but it's always been clear to me that I wanted to eat and drink delicious stuff for a living. 30 years later, I'm a winemaker.

More about the host:
Victoria Cece is a food and beverage storyteller whose curiosity is somewhere deep in a bowl of pasta or a bottle of wine. A fool for history, you can find her reading up about ancient grape varietals or wandering around a little Italian town eating everything in sight, under her alias Slutti Spaghetti.
