Diva Moretti Polegato was born into a family with a long tradition in wine making. The family winery, Villa Sandi, is located in the heart of the Prosecco area and is indeed a leader producer having reached over 115 countries in the world. Diva’s father, Giancarlo, had a leading role in creating and promoting the reputation of Prosecco, both as a wine and as an area of production. The Moretti Polegato family’s passion and commitment reflect in the land itself, which has resulted in having the winery’s estates certified as “Biodiversity Friend” by the World Biodiversity Association. Although Diva grew up in the picturesque scenery of the Prosecco hills, she obtained her Political Science degree in London. She is a certified Sommelier and continues to enhance her knowledge in the wine world.
