Zach Davis is the Owner and Editor-in-Chief at
The Trek and was named the The Top Hiking and Outdoor Blogger by USA TODAY. He has more than 5,000 miles of backpacking experience, including thru-hikes of the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail. He's authored a pair of books, Appalachian Trials and Pacific Crest Trials, resources geared toward mentally preparing people for a thru-hike. When he's not hiking, Zach is most likely playing with his dog or at a brewery in Golden, Colorado, where he currently calls home.
Today, we’re going to learn how Zach went from hating the outdoors to making a career out of it, his journey hiking the Appalachian trail and advice he would give to others on how they can turn their passion into a career.
