If You Give a Mouse a Hair Dryer Ember Goods Coffee Shop 422 Washington St SE, Olympia, WA 98501 Olympia is the state capitol of Washington, and the perfect place to visit or live if you are looking for a community with everything, maybe not right this moment with the nationwide pandemic, but travel will be back! For right now you get to take a virtual armchair journey with us continuing up the PCH. A very laid back vibe, and total acceptance of every type of individual.  this is where we found Ember Goods in downtown Olympia. Logan and Bonita, our first two guests are now married, and we at the roadshow would love to think we had something to do with this. We did not but it's a good story!  This couple, with the assistance of a dear friend and co-owner Nick Terrel, turned a tattoo parlor, with a very bad reputation into one of the most unique retail/coffee shops we found on the PCH . Photography, wood working, and retail skills combined, with a desire to fill a space with local artisans, makes your perfect next coffee stop. A very eclectic space that offers up northwoods type clothing, homemade sweaters, gifts, and personal products like local beard wax. How did these two delightful people meet? Which one was shooting a wedding, and which one was a guest when their star crossed eyes met? The rest one might say “is history”, until someone decided to move to Thailand. In the movies when the man professes his love, there is a "standard" reply and then there's a Bonita response. There may be moments in life that cements a woman’s love for her partner, Logan and mice, you will just have to listen!  Excellence in coffee, you bet! (don't leave without trying the turmeric, ginger, honey with cinnamon, clove and a shot of espresso) Trivia question. Who was the yo-yo champion of Washington two years running? And why wouldn’t the judges allow him to use his Stradivarius yo-yo? Our next guest Evan is an "extrovert without a stop button". How did she suddenly become a recluse while in college?. What did coffee have to do with it? Evan Sterbick's story will make you feel good all over. She has discovered her passion, and is now “feeding Olympia” Discover why making good food equals making good memories. She has an explanation for why teaching people how to cook good things during bad times can solve many problems. Not his major, what drew him to this position. He now works with special education children and you can  definitely understand why he is good at his job.
