Elizabeth Warren is the senior United States Senator from Massachusetts, elected in 2012. She was the driving force behind the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and served as Chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). Senator Warren is a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee. A law professor for more than 30 years, most recently at Harvard Law School, Senator Warren is the author of ten books, including A Fighting Chance, The Two-Income Trap and All Your Worth. She lives with her husband Bruce Mann in Cambridge, MA and has two children and three grandchildren.
