Episode 54 Elena De la Cruz62 Year-old Elene De la Cruz, a beloved Bronx mother and grandmother had just battled against Cancer for her life. Her treatment left her frail, and caused her hair to fall out, but she got the news that her Cancer was in remission. She looked forward to the little things she enjoyed in life like grabbing a few snacks and sitting down to watch a movie. On July 10, 2021, that's exactly what Elena had planned- a quiet night at home. At around 11pm, she headed to the deli store around the corner from her house; a store she frequently visited. She wanted to get her favorite snacks and come back home to watch her movie. Cameras showed her leaving her building at around 11:30 pm. After that, Elena went missing and has not been seen again. Several days past before her family found that Elena was missing, and they are desperate to find out what happened to her. Elena's daughter, Taina Roper discusses the case in this episode.
