Submit ReviewThe Utah Jazz are 10-5 with a differential of 3.5 thru the first 15 games. Is that a sample size that is adequate to evaluate where the Jazz are going to finish. According to David Locke, radio voice of the Utah Jazz and Jazz NBA Inisder the answer to this is yes. Locke looks back through 2015-16 and looks to see where teams with a similar differential end of finishing the season.
However, the real take away from the exercise is the NBA is different this year and the top of the league is not nearly as dominant as years past and the standard deviation of teams is slimmer than it has been in years past. This means all the things on the fringe are more important than ever before. The Utah Jazz have been taking advantage of those items.
Locke also looks at some strange shooting numbers for the Utah Jazz this seaosn and a preview of the New York Knicks tonight including the two keys to the game.
