Kimberly Chatterjee is a mixed race South Asian actor born to an Indian-American father and Anglo-American mother. Born and raised in Fremont, California, she grew up surrounded by people and cultures with roots from around the world, particularly Asian and Middle Eastern cultures. She came to NYC to go to NYU Tisch's New Studio on Broadway, where she got her BFA in Drama with a focus on Musical Theatre, a BA in English & American Literature, as well as a certificate in Shakespeare Performance from a semester at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She most recently performed in both the World and NYC premiere of Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice, a co-production with Primary Stages and Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Next up she will be performing in a two week workshop of Bhangin' It by Rehana Mirza, Mike Lew, and Sam Willmott through the Jerome Robbins Foundation.
