During his 40-year career he has worked in defence, pivoted his career to become a research scientist, lived and worked in numerous countries around the world and currently lives in Narrabri NSW, where he grows pecans and runs prime meat lambs on a small property with his wife and 3 children. Ian is passionate about science and people and strongly believes that by combining the two there is nothing that we can’t achieve or overcome as a society.
