The Detroit Red Wings came out hungry against the Stars, after their poor performance on Thursday. Through the first 2 periods it was a close game, tied 2-2, with goals from Dylan Larkin and David Perron (in game 1,000 no less). But in the third period Dallas took control and had the Red Wings on their heels barely making into overtime. In overtime, after making a great defensive play, an exhausted Dylan Larkin made a huge lapse in judgement that resulted in a turnover, odd man rush, and a game winner for the Stars. But Detroit comes away with 5 of a possible 8 points on their 4 game road trip, pretty good. Elmer Soderblom is activated from the IR and sent to Grand Rapids.
