In retaliation for standing up for students and books, Kim was called out by name at school board meetings and attacked by a Moms for Liberty group. But even now that she’s retired, she’s still standing up for students with a grassroots group called Guardians Against Book Banning. Jasmine then sits down with Grace Lynch, the producer and host of Teaching Texas - a podcast that takes a deep dive into the American education system.
