It's Friday and that means another brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio! This week, things get heated when we start going through Peter Chiarelli's handiwork and the refs blatant disregard for player safety, but then cooler heads prevail when we break down Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' 500 games with the Oilers and Milan Lucic finally breaking his slump.

To start off this week's show, we broke down last night's win over the Florida Panthers and the technical difficulties that were happening on the Shaw broadcast. Some folks were watching the game through a strobe light and we discuss what was missed as a result of the issues. Next up, we looked at Leon Draisaitl being named to the All-Star game where he will join Connor McDavid for the annual skills contest and 3-on-3 tournament. As you can imagine, we're all pretty excited for the guy to make it after we all felt like he was snubbed when the rosters were initially released. From there, we moved into Brandon Manning's place on the roster/depth chart and tried to figure out how long he will stay a healthy scratch. Getting back to the positive side of things, we also looked at Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' 500 games as an Oiler and walk through some of the hell he's lived through since being draft first overall back in 2011. Has anyone been through more than Nuge in the opening years of their career? Lastly, we had to get up to date on the Lucic Goal Draft after the big man broke his goal drought on Tuesday night against the Sharks. As of this moment, Cam sits atop the leaderboard with a single goal and we wonder whether that will be enough to win the whole thing. Needless to say, this was another jam-packed podcast and one that you'll want to send into your ear holes as soon as is humanly possible.
