Dr. Tsai has dual appointments at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System and Yale School of Medicine. He is the staff psychologist on the Critical Time Intervention team at the VA Errera Community Care Center where he also serves as Director of Research and Program Evaluation. Dr. Tsai has received federally funded grants and published over 150 peer-reviewed articles on topics related to homelessness, severe mental illness, trauma, and health disparities. He discusses with host Jim Fausone what the data on US Veterans homelessness tells us after VA has spent over $10 million on this problem.
