Trey rolled solo on this week's edition of Downey and Martez to breakdown the Bucs preseason opener. Trey began the show by paying tribute to the great Mark Cook. Downey then got into all of his takeaways from Tampa's loss to the Bengals. Trey asked if Tom Brady should play another down this preseason after he was sacked on his very first series. He then came to grips with the reality that Blaine Gabbert is the backup quarterback for this football team and that Kyle Trask won't be given the opportunity to earn that spot this year. Trey then questioned why Ryan Griffin touched the field before Trask and made the case that the rookie should get playing time with guys further up the depth chart. Downey then closed out this week's show by going over who shined on defense on both the positive and negative side. The players spotlighted included Joe Tryon, KJ Britt, and Grant Stuard.
