Another prime-time game meant the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would be on the main stage for all football fans to see & this past Thursday night with their 28-22 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the defending Super Bowl Champs didn't disappoint. But what was surprising was the Buccaneers offensive game plan the team used to leave "The City Of Brotherly" with a win.
Prior to the Thursday night game, Trey Downey & Len Martez made predictions on how they thought the Buccaneers would attack the Eagles' defense. But on the morning after the game, Downey & Martez got together for another episode of their podcast & both had to admit, they had it all wrong on how the Buccaneers put up their points. For one, Trey thought the Eagles best shot at beating the Buccaneers would be by getting into a shootout, requiring the Buccaneers to try have short drives to score a lot of points. Meanwhile Len thought with Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady nursing an injured thumb that the Buccaneers would rely heavily on their running game. Well, neither was true as Brady missed on just 1 pass on the team's first two drives, leading to touchdowns. Those two drives set the Buccaneers up to lead by as many as 21 points in the second half until the Eagles scored the final 15 points of the game.
Trey & Len moved on from the Buccaneers' prime time win to take a look into some of the other matchups in week six in the NFL, including one host thinking highly of the last remaining undefeated NFL team, while the other referred to that team's undefeated record as nothing but "Fugazi."
