For the second time in three days, the Dodgers offense knocked around a Cy Young candidate and earned a win. They hurt Corbin Burnes' case a bit and aided Tony Gonsolin's case a bit as the right-hander improved to 16-1. Gonsolin didn't go as deep into the game but that was seemingly by design. Trayce Thompson continued to be a big boost to the offense. Lastly, Walker Buehler underwent his second Tommy John surgery and likely won't be seen on the mound again until 2024.
