Multiple seasons of mediocrity and missing out on the NHL postseason has finally caught up with DJ Smith, as the Ottawa Senators fired him on Monday after a seriously disappointing start to the season that was supposed to look a whole lot different for an Ottawa team boasting such elite-level talent as Brady Tkachuk, Tim Stutzle, Josh Norris and a lot of other fantasy-relevant names.

Tuesday's episode also looks into what is going on yet again with the Vegas Golden Knights goaltending situation. One year removed from employing five different goalies, the Knights are once again dealing with multiple injuries to No. 1 'tender Adin Hill, who returned over the weekend to only leave the game once again with injury and did not play again. Logan Thompson should become an immediate target should any fantasy hockey GM need a little support in the blue paint until Hill's prognosis is available.

We wrap the show with Tuesday's big-time NHL betting board and a look into the impressive heater from fantasy hockey stud and Colorado Avalanche superstar Nathan MacKinnon, who is riding the NHL's longest active point streak of 15 games.
