The Pittsburgh Steelers lost Brian Flores to the Minnesota Vikings who took a defensive coordinator job to leave the team. But could that have been prevented? And was there more the Steelers could've done to keep Flores in the fold? Chris Carter and Alan Saunders don't see it that way, as Flores was due to either get a defensive coordinator job or a head coaching position very soon anyways. Flores' impact was good for the team, but the best thing Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan can do is find another a coach who can help the way Flores did, whether it's on offense or defense.

Also, what is the Steelers' salary cap situation for the offseason? How much cap space can they create? That might come down to some cuts that need to be made to the roster that could include players like Mitch Trubisky and other veterans who are making $10 million or more but aren't bringing that kind of value to the team.
