Submit ReviewWhen quarterback Jayden Daniels entered the NCAA Transfer Portal earlier this year and eventually committed to the LSU Tigers football program, it understandably left many Arizona State Sun Devils football fans flustered, to say the least. Fans didn't see it coming whatsoever, especially when the three-year starter had announced he was returning to ASU for his senior season. Daniels was coming off a disappointing 2021 season compared to what Sun Devils fans had become accustomed to based on his prior seasons, but he was nonetheless the best option the team had at quarterback. Following his departure, Arizona State Sun Devils fans, alumni, boosters, and the like had mixed feelings ranging from sympathy to frustration towards Daniels's decision to transfer, but one thing seemed clear: there were no hard feelings between the two parties. One of Daniels's biggest supporters, his mother (Regina Jackson), went on a Twitter spaces live recently and made some interesting comments regarding Arizona State University and its inability to build a team around Daniels during his time in Tempe. Is Ms. Jackson accurate in her somewhat pointed comments about the program or is this an inaccurate statement? Host Richie Bradshaw gives his brutally honest opinion on these comments on this edition of the Locked On Sun Devils podcast.
