Comic book movie are all the rage right now, but few of today's comic book adaptations attempt to recreate the look of the comics that they're based on. For this double feature, we're going to take a look at a couple of films that — for better or worse — attempted to painstakingly recreate the look of the comics that inspired them.

For our first film, we're discussing a movie that just celebrated its 30th anniversary, Warren Beatty's long-in-development DICK TRACY. We'll talk about just how Beatty managed to finally bring his dream project to the big screen, and how Disney's aggressive marketing attempting to recreate the success of the previous year's BATMAN.

For this episode, we're joined by special guest Mr. Todd A. Davis!
