Curt Beech, the Emmy-nominated production designer on the hit show Only Murders in the Building, creates a complete reality for the characters he is designing for, based on the thinnest of clues. His notebook isn't full of pretty pictures, but writings, drawn from the smallest of ideas hidden in the show's script. It's these ideas that lead to the design decisions that so boldly colour the homes of main characters Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez).
