Under new General Manager George Paton, he has expressed how important it is that the Broncos retain their key young players, and he's stressed how important it is for the Broncos to retain Justin Simmons long-term. The hope is that the Broncos can now work on a long-term deal with Justin Simmons rather than placing the franchise tag on him for the 2nd year in a row.
