Brian Rubinow (Fat Wolf, The Night Cap with Stacy Rumaker) joins us with his childhood obsession. It’s a cartoon based on an NES video game called “Defenders of Dynatron City”. The game tanked, so only a single episode was ever produced, but it made an impression nevertheless.

Featuring luminaries like Whoopi Goldberg and Tim Curry, you’d be forgiven if you thought this was set in the Fallout universe. Despite all that, Ray is less than impressed, while Chan is quite smitten. Pink slime, Chan and Dr. Mayhem bond over a shared method of utility bill payment, and is that a foreshadow of a possible future Little Shop of Horrors episode?
