Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Proverbs 16:16 says, "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!" If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget. Today’s quote is from Jim Rohn, and it is, "An enterprising person is one who sees opportunity in all areas of life."

An Enterprising Person

There are opportunities in nearly every area of life, if you are willing to pursue them. As another saying goes, most people will miss opportunity because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. Indeed, to take advantage of the opportunities available, you must be willing to sacrifice what you desire most for what you desire today. All opportunities require choices. You must choose to invest your time, talent, and resources into a worthwhile potential opportunity. You will not be successful in every opportunity you pursue, but if you do not choose to pursue opportunities, then you will never know what might have been. Make sure that your vision, mission, and values are clearly defined. Then you will know when to invest in an opportunity, and when to bypass specific opportunities. God expects us to fulfill the talents and abilities that He has blessed us with.
