Outside the Comfort Zone – Daily Wisdom

Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on trek.com/wisdom-trek-podcast/day-1940">Day 1940 of our trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote and some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Proverbs 16:16 says, "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!" If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget. Today’s quote is from Michael Bobak, and it is, “All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.”

Outside the Comfort Zone

Any time we take on a challenge or make progress, it will cause us some discomfort or anxiety. The more significant the progress, the less comfortable we will be. Leaving their comfort zone will be a challenge for someone who is risk-averse, but little progress will be made unless you leave that comfort zone. This statement may sound a bit complex, but if you don’t leave your comfort zone and lack progress, eventually, that situation will cause more discomfort in your life than moving forward now, even if it does cause you some pain now. You must plant seeds of discomfort today so that you will reap a harvest of progress later on. As the old saying goes, pay me now, or pay me later. Either way, you will still have to pay. The payment required for lack of progress will be much greater than small investments over time outside your comfort zone today. If you allow God to direct your steps, he will lead you through your path. trek.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Outside-The-Comfort-Zone-3-300x295.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="295"> Psalm 37:23-24 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.
