Begin With an Idea – Daily Wisdom

Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on trek.com/wisdom-trek-podcast/day-1917">Day 1917 of our trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote and some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Proverbs 16:16 says, "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!" If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget. Today’s quote is from Napoleon Hill, and it is, “All achievements, all earned riches, have their beginning in an idea.”

Begin With an Idea

Before we can accomplish anything in life, we must first have an idea and then be convinced that it is possible. Of course, ideas themselves will not accomplish anything unless action is taken, but the idea should come before the action. Unfortunately, many fail to take time for solitude where they can pause, reflect, think, and brainstorm so that ideas begin to appear and germinate. Once the ideas are formulated, they become like a packet of yeast. The yeast by itself will do nothing, but soaking it in a bit of warm water will allow the yeast to be activated. Then once the yeast is mixed with flour and other ingredients in an environment where there is a little heat applied, it will force the entire mixture to grow. That tiny idea, represented in this analogy as “a small yeast packet,” will cause the mixture to double, triple, or even quadruple in size. Once that idea has entered into a plan of execution, that is, “ingredients,” it can be placed into an environment where it will be fully baked, just like a loaf of homemade bread. I can taste it now, and it is delicious. So dream, come up with ideas, mix them with a plan, and bake them to completion. The results will be your achievements and wealth. trek.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Begin-With-An-Idea-3-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300"> Matthew 13:33 Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.” As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.
