Accurate Information – Daily Wisdom

Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on trek.com/wisdom-trek-podcast/day-1827">Day 1827 of our trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Proverbs 16:16 says, "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!" If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget. Today’s quote is an old Proverb, and it is, “A positive conviction without accurate information is a dangerous thing.”

Accurate Information

We can have strong and positive convictions about a particular subject or person, but if it is inaccurate, it will lead to self-delusion and a cultic environment. Unfortunately, many people have been led astray by a dynamic personality who gathered a following based on their rhetoric that is full of positive conviction but did not contain the whole truth about a matter. This person may soon gather a cult, but they will lead the followers down the wrong path. But, on the other hand, we can have a true positive conviction based on the truth when our talk and walk follow God’s Word. It is great to have a positive conviction, but only when our beliefs align with God’s precepts. Then, we need a call to spiritual growth. trek.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Accurate-Information-3-300x300.png" alt="" width="300" height="300"> Hebrews 5:11-14 There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong. As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy. trek.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Accurate-Information-4-300x200.png" alt="" width="300" height="200"> If you would like to listen to any of our past 1826 treks or read the Wisdom Journal, they are available at trek.com">Wisdom-Trek.com.
