Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Proverbs 16:16 says, "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!" If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget. Today’s quote is from Harry Truman, and it is, “A pessimist makes difficulties of his opportunities, and an optimist makes opportunities of his difficulties.”

Opportunities In Difficulties

Our outlook and mindset highly influence how we view and function in life. If we loath difficulties and grind to a halt every time we face them, we will never make much progress in life. Opportunities are always full of difficulties. The bigger the opportunity, the greater the difficulties will be. As always, we have a choice. We can be hindered when faced with opportunities or take advantage of them, regardless of their difficulties. Interestingly, in both situations, the opportunities are the same; it is all in how we view them. So since we do have a choice, life becomes much more enjoyable and worth living if we consider all opportunities from an optimistic mindset. Since we are created to be imagers of God, we should see every opportunity that God brings our way as an opportunity to build His kingdom.
