Make Things Happen – Daily Wisdom

Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on trek.com/wisdom-trek-podcast/day-1820">Day 1820 of our trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Proverbs 16:16 says, "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!" If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget. Today’s quote is from Jill Sterklel, and it is, “A person’s attitude, effort, and commitment provide the power and passion that makes unique and special things happen.”

Make Things Happen

We tend to look at individuals who always seem to succeed and accomplish much in their lives and wonder how it is possible. However, if we investigated further, we would find a common thread throughout their lives. First, we would discover that those individuals who continuously succeed also have a proportionate number of failures. Second, we would find that they maintain a positive attitude and an undiminished level of effort and commitment to succeed even through their failures. Because of their attitude, effort, and commitment, they can generate the power and passion needed to make unique and special things happen. The more adversity, the more driven they are to succeed. As imagers of the Most High God, we need to have the same attitude and drive in everything to bring honor and glory to His name. trek.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Make-Things-Happen-3-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300"> Colossians 3:23-24 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy. trek.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Make-Things-Happen-4.png" alt="" width="199" height="253"> If you would like to listen to any of our past 1819 treks or read the Wisdom Journal, they are available at trek.com">Wisdom-Trek.com. I encourage you to subscribe to Wisdom-Trek on your favorite podcast player so that each day’s trek will be downloaded automatically. If you would also like to receive our weekly newsletter called Wisdom Notes, please...
