We open with a voice memo / voice note that my friend Heidi Mackay sent me about two new features in popular dating app Hinge: voice prompts and voice notes. Why? Michelle Parsons, Hinge's Chief Product Officer, told Mashable that over the past year Hinge has learned that "daters want to have a better understanding of each other before they meet in person." Because many people are too scared? lazy? shy? to make a phone call, now they can use these voice features to weed out poor matches before wasting time in person! Not kidding - voice is information-rich. Hear my take on putting your real animal physical self into your dating strategy since no one asked! #sensory
