Edmonton Ward 4 City Councillor, Aaron Paquette, is a man of many talents, including: author, artist, illustrator, public speaker, goldsmith, and stained glass window builder. He brings a wealth of experience and perspective to city hall, which is a major asset. In this wide ranging conversation we discuss things like reframing divisive issues with a comedic approach, the process of creating art and its subjective nature, social problems we face as a society, and the ways in which we might better approach them. Perhaps most valuably, we spend time discussing his mother, a hero in his eyes who taught him passion for community and what can be accomplished with ingenuity and hard work.
