This discussion panel will reflect on this use and take stock of recent developments in environmental CBA and the challenges this presents to policy makers. The panel will be comprised of some of the LSE authors of a recent book published by OECD on environmental CBA as well as policy practitioners. The book is entitled Cost benefit analysis and the environment: further developments and policy use. Nils-Axel Braathen is a Principal Administrator in the Environmental Performance and Information Division of OECD’s Environment Directorate. Ben Groom (@ben_d_groom) is Professor of Environment and Development Economics, LSE. Joseph Lowe is Head of Economic Branch, HM Treasury.
