This is Coronavirus 411, the latest COVID-19 info and new hotspots… Just the facts… for Thursday August 6th, 2020. Coronavirus Task Force Member Dr. Fauci, said the world may never be rid of COVID-19, but a vaccine and public health measures will keep it under control. President Trump is considering an executive order to reinstate the eviction moratorium, increase unemployment benefits and temporarily suspend the payroll tax as Congress has yet to reach an agreement on the next stimulus bill. Students and teachers in Indiana, Georgia, Mississippi and North Carolina are in quarantine after exposure to COVID-19 at the start of the school year. The Mayor of Los Angeles will cut off power and water to homes that continue to host large parties. 

Peru set a new daily case record, while France and Germany recorded their highest daily infection numbers since May. The Associated Press is reporting that North Korea has put thousands of people in to quarantine, despite insisting there have been no positive cases in the country. Melbourne, Australia has shut all non-essential businesses.  Belgium will be added to the list of countries, requiring quarantine upon entry to the UK. Spain and Luxembourg are already on the list.
