When Democracy Now! was covering the COP28 U.N. climate summit in Dubai, we spoke to Sônia Guajajara, the head of the largest Indigenous delegation in the history of the climate talks. Guajajara is Brazil’s first Indigenous cabinet minister and the country’s first-ever minister of Indigenous peoples.
