A caller using OpenDNS seeks assistance in changing his DNS servers to work with a Netgear router.  A caller who uses her computer for a brokerage account and YouTube wonders if she should upgrade to Windows 10.  We recommend replacing computers  over five years old.  In addition we help a caller set up an Amazon Echo device.  A caller with who had his brokerage account hacked wonders about the use of two factor authentication to help secure his account.  We recommend using "security keys" such as the YubiKey by Yubico or the Google "Titan" security keys as a second means of keeping hackers out, if you can use security keys with your accounts.  We help an inkjet printer user deal with smudged printing and potentially dirty printheads by doing printhead cleaning procedures.  A caller asks which version of Webroot Antivirus he should buy, plus he asks about his OpenDNS settings in order to help filter out malicious websites better.  A listener asks if he can thwart hacks to his Ring Doorbell camera, plus questions on updating is Windows 7 desktop to Windows 10.  We caution that you need to document the 25-digit Windows 7 "key," plus the e-mail used to create a Microsoft account when you upgrade.  Finally, we help him with printing and faxing problems with a multifunction printer, fax and scanner.
