Four new excellent podcast episodes to share with you today, we hope you enjoy.

Joni Mitchell on Late Era. In the fourth episode of this new podcast, Andy, Sam and Winston go into depth on Joni Mitchell’s 16th studio album, “Taming the Tiger,” which came out in 1998. The most notable thing about this album is that at the time Joni was experimenting with a new guitar that allowed her to control synthesizers with the instrument, complimenting her idiosyncratic playing with washes of electronic ambience.

Beyond the Pond Highlights Dick’s Jams. As Phish is gearing up for a three night Dinner And A Movie run, Brian and Dave dive into two jams—Sand from 2012, and No Men In No Man’s Land from 2016. Of course, these guys will introduce you to more music s well.

Zach Gill on Groove Therapy. Taraleigh and Leah chat with musician Zach Gill about “feeling it” at a live show. Leah shares how live music can create lasting positive change and Taraleigh leaves listeners with opportunities to create this in easy and fun ways. Zach is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter who performs as a solo artist in addition to being a member of Animal Liberation Orchestra and Jack Johnson's band.

Tom Papa on Comes A Time. In this episode, Oteil and Mike welcome comedian Tom Papa for an enlightening conversation about fear and fearlessness, things that have changed since the pandemic, like comedy clubs, and the difference between living in the city versus the country. They discuss the commonalities between comedy and music, the perseverance that’s necessary for success, and their methods for finding balance.
