Have you ever stopped to think about what success looks like to you? This is a question I always ask my clients. Whether developing their confident communication skills to deliver presentations, give compelling talks, be successful at job interviews, and much more. Although they have practiced their presentation, put the finishing touches on their talk or interview prep, when it comes to the 'big day' itself, they sometimes find themselves so overwhelmed with nerves, that they forget all the good techniques they've been practising and don't feel confident. Some of my clients asked, “What can I do about this?” Well, in response to this I have created a visualisation exercise which can help. If you're preparing for an important event and feel that a little confidence boost will help, allow me to guide you through this visualisation exercise so that you feel more confident. In today’s episode I answer this client question: "What helps to calm your nerves before speaking?". The 5 Steps to Public Speaking Success online programme is available to buy now.
