The Cincinnati Reds signed Wil Myers to a one year, $7.5 million contract on Thursday. Myers is an excellent bat against left-handed pitchers and fields well in right field. Myers will help solidify the Reds lineup early and often. This is another great Reds offseason move by Nick Krall. Jose Barrero has not stopped working since the season ended and the work is paying off. Barrero breaking out would be huge for the Reds in 2023. Also, Steve Cohen is saving Major League Baseball for two reasons.
