Greetings, Dead Freaks! This week we go deep with guitar player, Chris Forsyth. We talk about his career up to now, his studies with Television's Richard Lloyd, and Chris' new album on No Quarter Records, All Time Present (available from noquarter.net and bandcamp.) Along the way, we dip into the album for a couple of clips and then spin a full cut after the chat before we get into some Garcia and Grateful Dead jams.

The album came out in mid-April, and there are shows on the horizon– including some with previous BdPod guests, Garcia Peoples. Be sure to keep an eye on Chris' website, https://thechrisforsyth.com/, for details.

If you dig the album, he's got more. I recommend any of the "Solar Motel Band" records. You can also find some terrific live recordings from our friends over at NYCTaper.com. Scroll down after the jump for a great clip of Chris Forsyth and drummer, Ryan Jewell joining Garcia Peoples for a ripping cover of The Other One.
