Six years. That’s how long six women’s families have waited for answers about their missing mothers, daughters, sisters and friends, after going missing in Chillicothe. Beginning in 2014, the small, rust-belt community amid the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in Ohio—also battling the opioid crisis, was left with heartbreak and questions. In about one year’s time, six women would vanish – four were found dead, two remain missing.
