Welcome to the Chicago Beer Pass: Your ticket to all the great beer events happening in and around Chicago. On this episode of Chicago Beer Pass, Brad Chmielewski and Nik White are finding themselves back at home continuing to practice social distancing. Now that we’re moving into the holiday weekend with most of the bars and restaurants opening in Chicago and across the state, there are a lot of choices for where you can go grab a beer. For now, both Brad and Nik are going to continue picking up beer from their favorite breweries but even if the guys aren’t out drinking there are still a lot of beers getting released that are worth picking up. A beer that was released from District Brew Yards this past week was the Hibiscus IPA, where all proceeds will be donated to Chicago hospitals’ Covid-19 relief funds. Not only is it important to support your favorite brewery, it’s even better when you can also support a worthy charity.  As the guys sip on their fresh pickups for the week, they chat about the event Solemn Oath is having coming up this weekend. They also discuss some of the places that have closed due to the pandemic as well as issues with staff/management.
