Black lives matter. Knowing your family history is very important. It makes a huge difference should you have a higher likelihood for lymphoma. Heather's friend Joy Mamey (@joymamey) was diagnosed at age 28 after finding a bump on her neck, followed by two more. "I think it hits when it wants to hit." Joy spoke with Heather about the effects of chemotherapy. It's not great for pooping, or for appetite. Fortunately, there is weed. And just like any hangover, it is essential to hydrate! The whole experience brings many unexpected feelings as well. The reactions she received after losing weight were surprising, and Heather is here for shaved head solidarity. Joy has a new podcast! It is called Terrified Together. It's available on the platforms AS WE SPEAK. Thank you very much to Joy for sharing with us. And thank YOU for listening. The production is produced by Heather Ann Gottlieb, Cameron Tagge, Alex Salem, and Tristen Bankston. The theme song vocals are vocalized by Natalie Sharp. The artwork is worked by Kevin Laughlin. The distribution is distributed by WhoHaHa.
