The Chargers have stayed away from in season trades in years past, but if an offensive weapon like Kyle Pitts becomes available, Tom Telesco should pounce. With Mike Williams out for the year, someone like Pitts would help right away and also grow with Justin Herbert for years to come. Another name in the trade market the Chargers have been linked to is disgruntled wide receiver Chase Claypool. Most likely, it’s just the bad quarterbacks Los Angeles has played in his absence. With the team at 2-2 on the year fingers are being pointed all over the place, but the Kellen Moore’s offense is a much lesser problem than the Chargers defense.
