Kemba Walker had his best game of the season and one of his best with the Celtics, torching the Suns for 10 points in the first six minutes and hitting his first six field goals on the way to a 32 point, 11-of-17 performance from the field that led Boston past Phoenix 99-86 with relative ease. Jayson Tatum struggled again, shooting 3-of-17, but he made up for it on the boards, in the passing game and collectively on the defensive end with his teammates in holding a top-six offense to 86 points while shutting down Devin Booker for 15, as he fouled out midway through the fourth quarter largely on charges. Romeo Langford got the spot start with Jaylen Brown down with shoulder pain, while Robert Williams III missed his fourth game in a row amid growing concern about his knee inflammation. Late in the show, the Celtics and our show received news of Terrence Clarke dying in LA at 19, a close friend of various Celtics, a Boston native and 2021 NBA Draft prospect.
