Originally from Brazil, Celso Salim is a blues guitarist whose music has a very strong Chicago blues feel. He’s released 5 solo albums since 2001, performed at some of Brazil’s biggest festivals, toured Europe and opened for B. B. King, Deep Purple, John Hammond, Joe Bonamassa, Canned Heat, Kim Wilson and Larry McCray. The Celso Salim Band won the So Cal Blues Society Battle of the Bands twice, received 2 awards in the 2019 International Blues Challenge and 5 Independent Music Awards
