Starting tomorrow, the Brooklyn Museum will display a new exhibition, Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech, on the life and influence of the late designer Virgil Abloh, who died of cancer at the age of 41 in 2021. Anne Pasternak, director of the Brooklyn Museum, joins us to talk about how the show was put together, what the initial conversations about the possibility of an exhibition with Abloh were like, and how his passing affected how the exhibition is displayed. Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech is on view until January 29, 2023.
