CBD OR NOT TO BE Episode 37 https://caribeecbd.com nathan@caribeecbd.com Laguna Beach, CA Pride Fest Prior to starting this season we had talked about the huge amount of interest in all things CBD. We had initially started by looking at  recruiting a store that served CBD mixed in coffee, or a store that served coffee beans infused with CBD. While in Laguna Beach visiting Catmosphere (episodes 34-35), we went on a very short road trip (3 blocks away) to check out the local Pride Fest and interview one of the founders of an online CBD company called Caribee. This company in fact won the “Best CBD Company”  at the consumer CBD Reviews Awards. Their goal was to not only have a product that was “functional” from a CBD standpoint, but one that tasted good as well. This sounded like something our “beverage” podcast needed to investigate further. We ended up spending a delightful portion of the afternoon with the entrepreneurial owner,founder and some of the other partners from Caribee, a company specializing in CBD. The more we talked the more we learned and hopefully you will too. An illuminating conversation, with Pride music and festivities playing in the background! What are your first thoughts when you hear CBD ...be honest, lots to learn. We came away feeling like we were better educated in CBD, as it can be related to beverages specifically, coffee. We realized we still had a lot to learn though What was the calling that led Nathan Vasquez owner, Nicole Osborn, and David Hidalgo into this burgeoning market? How was it that Mitch McConnell, yes that Mitch McConnell got involved, and why this growth industry now?  Is there a stigma associated with CBD? What are the challenges of a business whose laws seem to fluctuate,day to day and state to state?  How difficult is it in the present day and age to promote, or advertise your CBD business?  Why would the little guy have the same advantages or disadvantages as the corporate behemoths.
