Amid the cost of living crisis, the Commonwealth Bank announced a profit of $9.8 billion dollars yesterday – down slightly on last financial year's record results.

CBA CEO Matt Comyn says bringing inflation down is everyone's main priority and the bank recognises it's a "difficult time" for many Australians.
