The Carolina Panthers offense continued to go through growing pains under new head coach Frank Reich and with rookie QB Bryce Young under the center. The Panthers followed up an uninspiring offensive effort in Atlanta with a repeat performance they fell, 20-17, to the New Orleans Saints. Julian Council provides his thoughts on the state of the Panthers offense through two games.

Heading into the 2023 season, the Panthers only returned 39% of the offensive production from a year ago, which ranks last in the NFL. Not only that but the Panthers are starting the rookie Young at QB and have a new offensive scheme. Julian explains why he believes fans need to be more patient with the offense as they work through early struggles.

The Panthers suffered yet another crushing injury on Monday night as LB Shaq Thompson was carted off the field with a right ankle injury. Following the game, Reich stated that Thompson's injury was "significant" and reports from the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport suggest that Thompson could be done for the season. Julian looks at how the Panthers move forward without Thompson.
