The St. Louis Cardinals dominated in just about every fashion in their road sweep of the Pirates this weekend. Adam Wainwright was great on Friday, the bullpen (namely Giovanny Gallegos, Drew VerHagen and Ryan Helsley), was phenomenal Saturday, Angel Rondón was a lifesaver Sunday and the offense came alive Sunday afternoon. This was a huge gain of momentum ahead of a very difficult schedule for the St. Louis Cardinals as they face three playoff-caliber teams with deep October runs in mind.
